This tailgating satellite system consists of the Tailgater Satellite Antenna and an HD Solo Receiver (Model ViP211k - sold separately). Now 211 and 411 home receivers will work with the Tailgater if they have been used in the home within the last 6 months to have received the required software upgrade. Add to your home DISH Network service or try the 'pay-as-you-go' service option. Pay only while on the road on a monthly basis. No start-stop fees.

Setup for the Tailgater Portable HDTV System is easy because of the single coaxial cable connection between the antenna and the receiver.  Additional power or control cables are not needed, however 110v AC power is required for the TV and Receiver. Given that most RVs already have a portable satellite antenna input, connecting the Tailgater to the receiver inside an RV is very straightforward.. After connecting the devices, follow the on-screen instructions. The Tailgater will automatically find the satellite orbital locations for your DISH Network programming. When you're done watching, simply power down the Tailgater and receiver, disconnect the cables, and take your system with you.
