Eva-Dry High Capacity Dehumidifier
This high capacity renewable dehumidifier from Eva-Dry, protects your RV, camper or any small enclosed space (up to 500 sqft.) from the damaging effects of excessive moisture. It helps to prevent mold, mildew and odors by eliminating the moisture that allows them to form. Renewable Eva-Dry dehumidifiers are filled with silica gel, a very thirsty substance. Odorless silica beads absorb many times their weight in moisture and lock it in so water can't leak or spill out.
Safe, non-toxic, natural defense against moisture and mildew.
How does it work?
- The silica gel beads absorbs moisture until they are fully saturated, turning the indicator a pink color. This can take 30-60 days.
- When the Eva-Dry is "full" you renew the silica inside by plugging the unit into any power outlet.
- Heat gently releases water vapor in a few hours. This can take 12-16 hours.
- When the indicator is blue again, Eva-Dry is renewed and ready to go back to work.
- You can repeat the process for up to 10 years!
Since dehumidification is typically necessary while the RV is in storage, 'renewal' can easily take place while out camping.
